Universally education has been training students in “competition” and “technical skills” at the cost of “ability to connect” and “relationship skills” all the way from the industrial revolution. This has been creating numerous conflicts, nuclear stalemate, globally unhealthy relational conditions, environmental issues, crisis-prone, unstable, with potential in 2 or 3 decades for certain risks like such as societal collapse, high-tech extremism, and high-tech fascism with a threat to the existence or stability of civilian governments.

In this article, I will do a deeper analysis of the world crises, such as the pandemic, global warming, inflation, income inequality, etc. I will discuss why the many global crises are symptoms of a lack of scientific management of global relational phenomena. I will discuss how these crises are effects of the events driven by adverse interaction of dispositions associated with various global relational factors such as educational, cultural, political, and economic factors.
The imbalance between advancement in relationships and technology is introduced as the RQ-TQ imbalance problem. The relationship of this to global problems such as poverty, overpopulation, and conflicts is introduced. The root cause of the RQ-TQ imbalance problem is discussed such as education, and inherent structure of the human mind, etc. References are given for further discussion. This paper is an excerpt from the introduction to the bookset of ‘The New Structured Foundations of Social Sciences’.
